Korean Pop (K-pop) sensation BTS has achieved yet another milestone. The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has certified their album ‘Map of the Soul: 7 The Journey’ for shipping over one million units, earning them the RIAJ Million Certification.
According to RIAJ, albums receive certification for gold, platinum, and million shipments at 100,000, 250,000, and 1,000,000 units respectively. BTS has been joined by other K-pop groups like NCT Dream, Le Sserafim, and Stray Kids in this achievement.
Currently, BTS is on hiatus, with the members focusing on their individual projects. J-Hope has released his solo album ‘Jack in the Box’ and collaborated with American rapper J.
